He graduated the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, studied painting in Prof. Kiril Tzonev's and Prof. Ilyia Petrov's classes. He takes part in individual and group exhibitions. The artist has awards for painting from Union of Bulgarian Artist. Ivan Stoylov - The Bunker gets inspiration from archaeological finds of prehistoric pottery and plastic arts. He collaborates with University for archaeology and art of Thessaloniki.
